400ex oil filter question

i was replacing my oil filter not long ago and when i took it out, a little rubber thing that looks like some kind of plug fell out. do any of u know what this might be and where it goes???

400ex oil filter question

It probably fell off the old filter, it seals it up so the oil is forced through. The new filter will have one on it.
