My wife has an injured right thumb (carpal tunnel) and has squealed about fatigue and pain from the thumb throttle on her EX. My dealer got me a MotionPro twist throttle kit. The MotionPro people were very cool when I called for technical assistance, even sent me a rubber boot that wasn't included in the kit. She took her first ride today with it-no thumb whining! The install was easy and the parts appear to be of excellent quality. I highly recommend the twist throttle kits from MotionPro. Makes that little quad even more fun to ride. A good grip replacement tip: If you have an air compressor, stick the nozzle through the hole you make in the end of the grip to screw on the bar ends. Run compressed air into the end of the grip, it slides right on and stays put. Simple!

 

dont even try it itll be way too jumpy so dont every time you hit a bump the throttle will twist and youll flip the frick** thing

 

I agree it'd be too jumpy but you don't really have a choice if the thumb isn't an option

 

Hmm...no..I tried one on my 250R...I had absolutly no problem with getting on the throttle over every bump...the only trouble I had was that when I turned I would let off the throttle...if I left it on there I would have gotten use to it an had no trouble....

 

was thinking about putting one on my wife's 250 also. she always has to stop to rest her thumb. i'm thinking on the 250ex it should be alright. she really shouldn't flip it to easy. i rode a twist on a raptor and it about bucked me off twice in about 5 mins.
