Hey,,i can get mine going about 50 -57

 

I will assume that your recon is heavily modified to achieve such speeds. If not hang on to it, its a collectors item as all others top out at approx 45mph.

i know for a fact the the recons go 80km i don't knnow what that is in miles but that isn't to shabbey for a 230cc 4 storke utilty

 

Approx. 50MPH if a kilometer = .625 mile

my 97 Recon, fully stock would carry me, 6'2" 275 lbs. consistantly 41-43 MPH, according to my GPS. One day with the wind at my back and on the road I saw 46, but that was about it. I had a smaller friend tell me he saw 45 reguarly accross the fields.

 

My 1997 Honda REcon will Go 45 or a little over the only modifications i hae done was goin out and byin an aftermarket set of tires.
besides that i have one problem with it i don't know what it is but when u shift into first and then shift into second and give it full throttle it starts spitting and tries to cut off on me.
besides that i know my honda recon 250 can hang with a 1999 yamaha big bear in the mud that is.

Acording to my GPS mine will do 39.9 mph in the sand with a 20 mph headwind.
My dealer and a number of other people have told me to expect about 47 mph on hard surface.
