Could I put a 250r Or a 350X Engine in A 300ex to get a more powerful quad without major modifications?

No you couldn't without a bit of modification and it would be too much power for that chassis anyways..unless yu wanted to widen and lengthen it.

And have some patience

Hello,
People put 350x motors in them all the time. Powroll makes a mount kit. You could put a 250r motor in, but why? Use a 250r frame for that. The 300ex seems too small unless you lengthen the swingarm and a-arms, but the 250r setup is already that way.

Just upgrade to a used 250r. it will much more reliable and a much better quad. The 300ex isnt worth that engine.
