posts of ideas for the next super honda sport quad

900cc v twin with the cylinder heads based on the crf450r design.
5 angle valve job from factory, titanium valves, and keepers
tuned port sequential fuel injection
6 speed hydraulic clutch tranny
sealed breaking system like the v-force
dual exhaust all the way out
titanium frame
and to get around the max speed law have the computer programmed so that the maxium rpms will not allow the bike to exceed the max speed they allow. purchase a performace chip that changes the ignition, fuel injection mapping and the speed limiter. that way it is no longer technically stock seeing as to the fact that you had to add a part to get the performance.
a dream to never come true, I know, but I can dream!!

I think if they were to just take the current Honda 400EX and put a factory installed hair-dryer turbo on it like someone discussed in the Suzuki thread awhile back...
...Now that would be quite a machine.
But, if an all new model...
Engine: 440cc liquid-cooled fuel injected engine, also with electric start. 45hp at the wheels.
Frame: Aluminum chassis with carbon fiber swingarm, carbon fiber axle, carbon fiber steering stem and all titanium bolts.
Transmission: Six speed with reverse.
Other Features: Carbon fiber wheels, factory-installed aluminum nerf bars, carbon fiber skid protection, optional race-shaved fenders, and factory- provided tether switch.
Goal Weight: 335lbs
Goal HP: 45hp at the wheels.
All for under $10,000.
What do ya think of that?

Guys, guys, guys.... what's with all the thumper fantasies... I think CrackHead has a good start... but the cost should be around the $4K mark!
Okay my turn.
Race (Not SPORT) machine #1
500cc Two stroke powervalve
Single cylinder
6spd Manual (No reverse!! Race machines don't need reverse!)
Liquid cooled
EFI/Direct Injection with cleaner emissions than today's 4 strokes (To Keep the enviro-****'s away)
counterbalanced
325#
12" useable suspension travel
~80 Rear wheel horsepower
Retails at $3,995
Race (Not SPORT) Machine #2
800cc Two Stroke powervalve
Twin Cylinder
6 Spd Manual (Again, No reverse!!! If I go fast enough foreward, I won't need reverse!!!)
Liquid Cooled
EFI/Direct Injection with cleaner emissions than today's 4 strokes (To Keep the enviro-****'s away)
325#
12" useable suspension travel
~155 Rear wheel horsepower
Sand tire equipped from the factory
Retails at $4199
Now that's got my nipples hard!!!! No wimpy 4 strokers for me!

- ohlin's or TCS shocks all the way around
just an all round race/ dune ready machine with good looks and handleling
and for you 4- strokers
- 700cc liquid cooled 4 stroke
- 6 speed manual tranny
- aluminum frame w/ detachable sub-frame, frame should use 250r geometery

alright my turn!.....and this is realistic
Well i would love a 2 stroke more than a four but.....not happing
350cc 2stroke twin
fuel injection system optinal and a single 45mm carb stock
a choise of paddles or holshots(like kawasaki, they should also sell them with holshots)
a new frame ....a cross between the 250R and 400ex
removable subframe
5 power valves
5 speed wit optional reverse for an added fee
wide axle
wide A-arms
all disk break
a powercoated frame
hydrolic cluch
nerfs stock ()
Foreget the four stoke....just put in the crf450 and call it new i guess (2 stroke PELASE)
