rejeting a 300ex???

I was just wondering if I get a DG full system with the header pipe, will i have to rejet the carb, and if I dont will it mess anything up without the rejet?? My friend said the new pipe will shoot hot air back in the motor and mess it up without the jet, so I was just curious thanx for any replies!!

one ?... what is your point of being a part of these forums? I would bet money that you don't own a quad or for that matter even know what one is. I have read another of your "informative" posts and would have to say that I hope you MOVE ON!
As far as the jetting question with a complete exhaust system (header and pipe) I would have to say that you will need to reject, I just put a supertrapp IDS and K&N on mine and had to do some major jetting changes. (up 3 full sizes on main, new needle w/clip in different slot and so on ) good luck I know that it can be frustrating...
