400ex parts
#2
No the swingarm will not fit. Nor will the 400 axle fit in the 300 swingarm. The axle will not fit because the bearing spacing is wider on the 400. And the swingarm will not fit because its alot differant were the bolt goes threw. The 400 swingarm has a section missing in the front because the swingarm bolt goes threw the frame-oneside of the swingarm - motor - other side of the swingarm - then threw the other side of the frame.
The 300 swingarm is a sleeve (or one full lenght pipe) from one side to the next. And the motor is suppoted by its own bolts.
As for the a-arms ? I did the 400 arm conversion on my wifes 300 but I used 400ex shocks. I would think there would be no problem with the +2's. You would just have to make the upper shock bracket so that the top of the shock bolts about 2" higher than the stock top hole. Normally the bracket for the 400 shocks moves the top hole up an inch and out (wider) a inch. Atleast that how I make the ones I used and sell. Your big consern on making the new bracket for the top of the shocks is so the front of the quad will not sit up abnormally higher then stock.
