I would like to know what are all the difference, it the 2004 really better and more powerful that the 2k3? Thanks

 

theres really no differnce between them. the only differences is the stickers and the if you get the red 400ex it is a darker red color. thats all hope that helps

 

the 2k4 also has a 38mm pumper carb instead of 35.5mm pumper carb

 

There might be some inside changes because of the carb, but the general spec's that are listed are the same. No one knows for sure thill someone gets one or there is a write up on it.
I would not pay full price for one with the Suz, Kaw, Polaris, and the new Yamaha out there.

 

The change in carb size doesn't do alot for me when other companies are putting out new quads. If I found a 2004 400EX model at a discounted price then the carb MIGHT tip the scale. I would not pay full price for so little effort.
