today i took my 250ex up the field, and we had to walk it about 3 miles, i turned the engine on an walked beside it tapping the trottle in 1st gear so i didnt have to push it(i didnt ride it becaus there are alot of police about and they would arrest me), could that damage the engine doing that? burn the clutch out? thanks hayve

Crackhead.....I asked my dealer if it would damage the engine if I threw the
throttle all the way in. He actually said the engine was designed to shut off
if the revs got too high. Is he the one on the crack pipe or is that ok to do?

u can do it as long as u dont keep it there too long (10-15seconds). The engine wont shut off it will keep revving but only to a certain point then the rev limiter kicks in and dont let it rev any higher to prevent damage.

i cant ride it into a desert coz i live in the UK and there is mainly roads and hardley fields etc and if they catch you your quad gets taken away and sold in auction to someone else for fraction of the price

If it is mostly roads were do you ride. If you were already in a field then why didn't you ride it, it is kinda hard for them to chase you in a field.

because i had to walk my quad around 3miles on roads to the field, how could i beat a meat wagon on a quad bike? so many people around here have been caught on crossers and quads for ridin on the roads un i dont want to risk it, if it there was loads of fields yes i would ride it there but the fact that where ever you go around where i live is just roads, i might aswell just walk it.

im lucky around here its all desert, i used to always be chased it started to become a routine thing until they realized they werent gonna catch me so they stopped trying. now i can cruise on the streets if i want to and they wont even bother. i also found out that the cop that would chase me on a regular basis had a raptor, one of my friends knew him and would ride together. he planned a ride and invited me and my brother (he would chase him too) so we went and got to know him and now hes cool with us. hes helped me out of about 3 speeding tickets

You live in a free country. You would never catch me walking beside something I paid for to drive. You're not under a brutal regime like the Taliban that would probably remove your ********* and kill your family if they caught you. I would do what the thing was made for and DRIVE IT!!!!!!! Fack the Pigs!
