The preferred years are 89-88, 87, and 86, in that order.

I have a friend who has an 89 for sale. It's in excellent shape.

email me for more info (rogcarlton@aol.com)

Is the 89 250r still for sale? If so, what all has been done to it?

Thanks...

Greg

The 250R is still for sale.

I don't know for sure what all has been done to it.

I'll send this thread to the guy that owns it, so he can respond if he wishes.

Regards,

Ghawkman, I have an 89 that I going to have on the market in September. Got it in moth ***** for the summer. It is stock except for K & N filter, FMF Gold Series Pipe, FMF Tip, a new D.I.D X-Ring Gold Series chain, and Roost Boost. Everything else is factory stock. Never been rebuilt and is still tight. Let me know if interested.

I am very interested if it is real clean. Do you have an idea how much you will be asking for it?

Maybe we can get together later this week so you can look and ride it somewhere close to both of us. Then make an offer. I can be flexible.

Are you still needing to wait until September?

I live in Menifee, a little North of Temecula.

I have a 2002 400EX for sale. I just put it in for sale last night. I am trying to trade it for a 250R quad or just sell it and buy a 250R.

I only ride in the sand so I need a 2 stroke. My 400EX is awesome for a 4 stroke.

Yes we can meet somewhere in between so I can see it. I am very interested.

Ghawkman, I'm going to be in the Victorville area on Friday the 13th. I'll get in touch with you sometime this week to figure out where would be a good place and what time, if that's okay. I'll give you my cell number then.

I am interested but I really would like to get my sold and have cash in hand before I spend the time to see yours...

I wasted a trip to Victorville on Friday because some punk kid said he wanted to trade his 250R for a newer 400. When I got there, he said he wanted to pay down hi credit card which meant he wanted cash. 1.5 hour trip each way for nothing. Oh well. I'd rather have the cash or find someone to trade.

I will stay in touch...

Thanks
