I am wondering if the outter joints on the front axle of this model are rebuildable ? One of my joints are clicking bad and I would like to know if I have to replace it new or get it reduilt. I don't have it apart yet.
And if you know? how do the front axles come out (I dont have a service manual yet)?

Thanks

Darryl

You can't buy a rebuild kit from Honda, you buy the whole joint, you can get the boots however. Not sure if anybody does aftermarket kits. They're not hard to get out. Remove wheel, brake hub, brake panel and your down to the knuckle. Remove the steering tie rod from the knuckle. Bend back the locking tabs on the big thin locknuts and remove the locknuts and the special bolts and knuckle. Grab the driveshaft pull and push on it, it kinda slidehammers off.
