I have a 2000 Honda FourTra300 4x4 and if i race my friend who has a 1999 yamaha 350 4x4 the utility NOT a banshee who would win my friends is stock but i have my airfilter lid off and a racing sparkplug.

You need to rejet & putt on an aftermarket pipe & then maybe you have a chance

The model your freind has is a bigbear.Sorry to say it will spank your 300! If you really want to beat him you will need a monster power kit at least.

I dont know taking that lid off the air filter is good for at least 15hp lollol.

 

This one I can comment on from experience. I work with two guys that have the same machines. Honda 300 4x4 and a big bear 350 4x4. The results are in - honda low end, mid range, and top end as well. Both are stock. Rejet your carb or put your airbox lid on. You are more than likely making a little more intake noise (seeming much faster than stock) and are not realizing any HP gains. Also, Your racing plug is probably hotter than stock and your engine is running hotter than normal. Result - loss of horsepower. Get your machine in order or you could risk getting smoked!

 

What about who would win with a rancher against wolverine and others in the same class because my rancher is way faster than the 300 4x4.

 

A Wolverine does 60mph how fast is a Rancher?
