300ex mods witch ones are the best

The intake and exhaust on a stocker is pretty restrictive, like twitchell said, a pipe and aftermarket filter will help a lot, with the proper jetting up to make up for the increase air flow. You will need to increase the front sprocket size to keep the revs down, or you will hit the rather stingey rev limiter the 300ex has, you can buy a modified CDI box with a raised or removed rev limiter to let you use more of the power, but be careful, without a rev limit, you can easily damage any motor, no matter how solidly built. Put 20" tires on the back, it will handle a lot better, but you will need a 14 tooth front sprocket to keep you out of the rev limiter. That's about all you can do without going into the motor and bumping up the compression,or replacing the cam.
