I currently have a DG RCM pipe on my 300EX and am pleased with the gains I got, but damn it's loud. Does anyone have an IDS2 on there 300EX, what's the sound level and performance like? I need to tone it down a little bit, sound that is, not power.

 

I used to have a FMF Powercore 4 in my 400EX and found it loud. I changed it to a Supertrapp IDS2 and it not only sounded better but the performance changed as well from low to top end.
