honda really needs to do something with their 250ex. It is pretty much the slowest entry level sport quad on the market. the blaster the z 250 and the mojave blow it away. the only thing worse is the trailblazer. does anyone agree with me?

If you feel that way maybe you should have gotten a 400ex to begin with

 

i say the 250ex is slower than the tb. do some mods to it.

 

what ru guys trying to prove the top speed of a t.b stock is 45-47 mph and 250ex is 52-55
the tb is 461lbs dry the ex is 349. obivious you guys have never driven one because they are one of the best and most reilable atvs for the price. the blaster is just a pos that spends more time at the dealer getting fixed then they get riding. i think electrc start and reverse are worth more than being 3-4 mph faster

 

This is a beginners bike, and how fast it goes is irrelevant!!! All the bikes in this category need to be pretty tame. You ride a Blaster, so you are probably just a 12 year old kid yourself (but obviously not a GIRL!!). You are just wasting everybody's time!

 

but for 500 hundred dollars in mods it will hang with z400's. It won't have as good of a suspension but it will hang with z400's and possibly beat them in a drag. don't believe me. z400 stock produces about 28 horses. look what this blaster is making with just a pipe. http://www.toomey.com/image/products...Comparison.htm

 

Most of the quads in this entry level category are quite adequate for there needs. Although it might hang with the stock z400, its most likely a highly moded pos. Rather than adding mods to your blaster or 250ex, you should just get a bigger bike, like the z or the 400ex.

Wow where did you get that top speed of the TB?The accurate top speed is 50-53mph. Depending on jetting. Off the line the TB is quicker but the 250 has like 2 mph advantage top end. I would like to see a 60hp 250ex. MMM NOPE SORRY!! But oh, the TB has a race mod that can hang with a 400. Now what bike has more potential? THE TB!! And not all TB's weigh 460 lbs. They can easily lose weight. You dont hear complaints about the TB axle bending, clutch going out frame cracking or complaints about not enough mods. The biggest question about the TB is what to do to make it faster. There are tons unlike the ex.There is hardley anything about reliability because they are very reliable.

 

dude roostthrower.. your sig says 250ex's suck, you must really hate them, they hate must come from being beat by some 250exs............ funny how blaster dudes always wanna race the only person theyll race is the 250ex.... he he... dude my best friend owns a 400z a blaster and a raptor.... ive riden both plenty.. the 400z and blaster dont even compare... stick to race'n 250ex s man..
