Are 86 250r's any good? Is there a better year to get?

 

they have longer swing arms and the swing arms are steel not aluminum, but they only weight alittle bit more.The front a arms were positioned frontward more. Also 86's had 5mm shorter rod then the other years. They can be bored over more too. All years are awsome! what kind of riding are you going to be doing?

 

Duning and drag racing mostly, no trail riding to speak of. What kind of power can you get out of them on pump gas?
