Has anyone here with a 400ex cracked their upper shock mounts? is this a common problem? Just the other night me and my bro noticed that the left one cracked all the way around and the right one is just starting to crack.

 

This has to have happened to someone! the majority of you guys have a 400! check ur bikes u might get a surprize like we did.

 

I haven't hear of a lot of ex's having cracks, hopefully you get your fixed real soon. Good luck.

 

Mine cracked 1/2 way around the right side and barley at all on the left. I took it to a good welder and had them both welded for 20 bucks. I race mx and ride very hard, but i have works shocks to help out. I just got it welded and not braced or gusseted. So far its held up great but ive only ridden it a couple weeks since i got it fixxed. My 400ex is a 2001.
