The Rincon and Rubicon will also come with GPS for an additional $200. All of the new Rancher 350's are now shown with a new body style. (The 4x4's have been shown with the new body style and now the 2x4's are also.)

It is kinda silly that Honda put GPS before disc brakes. I know some people like disc and others like drums. I like disc because it is easier to work on.

 

And, no "04" listing for the Foreman 400, so I bet it is discontinued. I would bet we will see the 450 gone some time soon.

 

Yes, I think that the Foreman 400 is done. I wonder how much different the Rancher 400 will be? I know there are some obvious differences. I guess I'm wondering about top speed because their weights are similar. They probably have very different gearing.

 

The AT is an automatic, with the Rubicon style transmission. Otherwise, the bike is basically the Rancher 350, except they have bored out the engine. The old 400 Foreman, was pretty much a work quad, with limited suspension (not the current trend!!).

I know! On their web site, you look at the list of utilities, and there are a bunch of them. You look at the list of sport bikes, and there are just 4........the same old 4 they have had for years. Honda has really pushed the SPORT/UTILITY thing, in an attempt to blurr the distinction between the two. But hey, a 600 lb 4X4 bike is still a 600 lb 4X4 bike, NO MATTER HOW YOU STYLE THE PLASTIC.

Market research indicates a strong turn toward the sport market, and that is what is going to sell in the future.

 

Honda needs to steal the disk brake on the rear drive shaft theory from Yami, like on my Grizz. Damn that works good, and doesn't wear out!
