start in gear mod for 250EX
#1
I have figured out a simple way to get the 250ex to start in gear, and still have the neutral light function properly. It doesn't require any wire cutting/splicing and is fully reversible.
If there's any interest I'll detail how to do it and take some pictures.

my wife has a problem with remembering to gear down when she's climbing a hill. so she will stall it and have to gear it down to neutral to get it back started. she's not the most balanced person(top heavy) and this would be a nice feature to be able to start it in first for her.

Dusty......how do you do it? I stall my quad all the time in gear. Either
riding through deep water or just taking a wheelie to the grab bar.
It's a pain in the a$$ to try and downshift to neutral once it's stalled.
You really have to slam the shifter.
