I am considering a Honda Rancher. I would like to hear from anyone who has one. I am particularly interested in the ES

Luke, all I can say is I'm very satisfied with mine. I wasn't to keen on the ES, but it really works great.

I love the Rancher. I was unsure of the ES also. Having owned several quads before, I kept slamming my left foot to shift. It took about a week and now I love it. Never get your feet wet. The floorboards are super strong, much better support than the manual shifts have. Great quad.

Luke, it's a great quad and priced right for what you get. I am really impressed with mine every time I ride.

I just traded a Recon in on the Rancher ES, Love it so far, but with all our snow, I've not yet made it out into the woods. Looking forward to it, and after 10 mins, I'm used to using the electric shift, but am still wondering about its strength in use.

Thanks everyone, I've made up my mind and will take the plunge in the spring when I sell my 300 Fourtrax. I need something to plow with this winter

Luke,
I have had my Rancher 350FE just four days. Have been riding every day in 20 degree weather with about 8-10 inches of snow. The Rancher goes anywhere in this amount of snow. The electric shift is great! My buddy has a Kawasaki with automatic. The electric shift beats the automatic by a mile. By that I mean I enjoy actually shifting through the gears. The automatic just has high and low range with reverse. All you do is put it in gear and hit the gas. It gets you there but not much fun.

Anyway, go for it. I think the Honda Rancher is well worth the bucks.

I've had mine for a week and its great, rode this past weekend for 52 miles, its the sportest 4x4 i ever rode including the wolverine, its great in the snow with the electric shift and the ground clearance. This weekend the only bike i couldnt beat up hills in 12 inches of new snow was the 500 sportsman man that bike can climb.

Hey Mike37, what's the difference between the FE and the ES?
