I would recomend it. They are a great little quad that is light and lots of fun to ride. The 250 engine is pretty well bullet-proof and will last you a long time as long as you take care of it. The 250ex is lots o fun on the trails and a blast to just play around on.

hey, i have one myself and very pleased with it. it does everything i want it to, but if your speed freak, you should consider something bigger. dont get me wrong its nippy, but if you want more than 50mph then go for something bigger. im 5'8 and weigh 130lbs so its just right, but if your more around 6'0 you might find it bit cramped.
cheers

I am really impressed with the wife's 250ex, it is all she and other less experienced riders want. She instantly became a better rider when she switched from big utility machines like 450s and Yam big bear or kodiak, to the ex. Having said all that, and looking around the forum to see if anybody is armed, if I were shopping new right now I would NOT write anyone a check until riding the Suzi z250. It sounds superior to the ex in all aspects of performance. Time will probably reveal some shortcomings of quality, as often happens with new Suz models(z400 frame). Hope that helps. PS: for thrills, get a 2 stroke and start modding. The sky and your credit card are the limit for fixing up machines like trx250r and LT250r.

I would recomend buying a 250ex i have one and its good but i dont think that it is worth the money buying one ne i would try to see if i could get one cheaper like on ebay or paper shop. then your could have the other money to buy aftermarket parts for it.
