Default 250ex,z 250, blaster or trailblazer

My brother is getting a quad for his birthday, he is 11 years old and weighs like 120 pounds. my dad put me in charge to find him a quad that would best suit him. i told my dad i would give my bro my 250ex if he bought me a 400ex but he turned my offer down. and told me to help him decide between these 4 quads another 250ex, a z250, a blaster, or a trailblazer. can u help

i agree with tb400 about the trailblazer but he is to young to handle a blaster but it would be perfect size for him. but honestly the quad that would suit him most is the 250ex but make sure u do some mods to ur quad so u can spank him in races

Since your brother is so light start him off with a 250ex or a blaster, A 250ex is considered a beg quad

the blaster is the cheapest priced one and offers the most bang for the buck. if he has any experience with a clutch get him the blaster. my next choice would be the z.

I would not touch the Polaris, it is to wide and not a great unit. The single brake and auto will not let your brother learn to grow.
The blaster now that it has disc brakes it the most fun quad you will ever ride, it is light and can be upgraded to grow with your brother. The Honda and Suzuki are pretty much twins, both stone reliable and offer a fun ride but they are not in the class out the Blaster.

Now has your brother riden before? If not the by no means start him on the Blaster it is to much quad, it is closer in performance to a 300ex the a 250. Also if you guys ride trailes the the electric start and reverse are the only way to go.

At 11 years old I would have to say the Honda or suzuki, he will love either one. So to pic one see who has the best price!

the suzuki is in first year production and could have defects, go with the 250ex. the trailblazer is really REALLY slow and HEAVY! and the blaster would be to fast for him unless he has some experience with a clutch

there is nothing wrong wit a trailblazer i mean they hit a top speed of 55 56 and thats the faster than the ex an just as fast as a blaster i know you probably think the suck but 2003 was a big turn around year for the trailblazer series such as the quad i own trailblazer 400 now come on its beat a 400ex not kiding and the 2003 trailblazer 250 beats the 250ex not by much but its still faster than honda and for the 2004 models if they make the trailblazer 250 liquid cooled better watch out cause its gonna be a kick @$$ machine
