Depends on your age and size, after a dirt bike, you may find a 300ex a little mild for you, it is a great trail quad, electric start and reverse, but you may find yourself outgrowing it performance wise. Have you considered a used 400ex? lots more suspension, faster, handles great. But like I said, that depends on your age, size, and riding ability, also if you're looking for full on sport, or like to have the reverse for bad trail sections.

 

Get the 300EX man. Im telling you Honda has suspension thats unrivaled. I have a 250EX and it runs soo smooth and the engine is very durable. Must get the 300ex

arent 250 ex's with the shaft drive slow? and how are you going to use your 300 ex for hunting?

 

all i need it to hunt with is for it to get me to the deer stand so u could consider that to be trail riding[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

The 300EX is a great quad for the trails and will be about equal with the crf150 dirtbike but the only thing is if you get the big buck you will have to figure out a way to drag it back home with a sled of some sorts. Maybe you can tie a rope to the back grab bar.
