Default C series on Rincon

I have a set of C series on my Rincon. The overall width is dramatically increased. I measured from the face that sits on the hub, and get just over 4" to the back side and just over 3" to the front side. The wheels are SUPPOSED to be 5 plus 2. I measured a set of 5 plus 3 Douglas and they measured correct. Curious if I may have gotten a set of 4 plus 3's by mistake...

Looks like I cannot post in the ITP forum.

These goofy wheels measure just like a typical 4+3. Before tires, I am about 47.5" wide. With 27-11-12 tires, I am 50"+ wide and 3" beyond the fenders.

If the max width spec for a Rincon is 46", these wheels OBVIOUsly do not come close to the OE spec.

Hey DieselPro I'm thinking of getting .190 Douglas wheels for my '02 500. Know of a good place to buy online?
Do they offer many different offsets? I don't want my tires sticking out any further they I have to. I hear there's not much thread left for the lugs with the .190 wheel. Did you have any problems with your '01 500?

I'd lok to Rocky Mountain ATV. I bought my first pr from Treadepot and wasn't happy with their service.

Douglas wheels HAD some weld problems. Not sure if they still do, but basically the weld in the center leaked. Douglas will repair/exchange, no problem, nothing a little grind/fill won't fix. Problem is, the hassle, so I fixed my own and called Treadepot who promptly told me my warranty was void! I was just hoping they'd pass the word, and maybe offer a discount on my next oreder but...

SO, that said, I'd suggest:

12x6 #014-21 front IF you run narrow tires. Anything wider thn a 27"-10-12 Vamp (very narrow) will just rub on the tie rod covers so then go to 12x7 #014-20 I have the stock 12x6's with my Vamps on my new 700, and like the narrow profile.

12x8 #014-62 rear. This is assuming you have, or will have 12" rubber on the rear. Not sure what year Polaris canned the 10" rear. These will put the extra 1" inward so you aren't excessively wide.

For studs, you'll need a set of 8 REAR studs for the front, and then either spot face the hubs or turn down the outer face aboyt .100" or so.

I'm planning to order Douglas for the Rincon and my SP 700 and tell ITP where they can shove those heavy, mis-measured wheels...

FWIW, I measured an ITP Magnum Billet 4+3 and it measured same as the Rincon wheels. Two big thumbs down for ITP...
