sry, you didn't say if you were experienced or not so i just figured that you were new to the sport. and i know what you mean about the trx 250. my friend has an 86' trx 250 and a xr100r. he also has a dirtbike track and it is not too fun trying to ride a trx 250 on jumps. i can get a little air but is hard. it hurts to land on the those things lol. i am 13 but i am looking at getting my first atv. what kind of riding do you do? and if you are looking at a used atv you shouldn't have trouble testing it. i have tested both of the two atvs i have went and looked at. and i don't even have an atv license or anything. but i guess it mainly depends on the owner of the atv. did you look at the 250x i am putting in an offer for. if so what do you think. thanks. matt

this is a total off topic but i have a question for 300ex rider where are u going to get that 406 kit from i would like to know cause ive looked at alot of places that do stuff with the engine just not that big i dont think

 

yo, i'm 15 and i'm 6'1". if ur still growing get the 400. I ride in the dunes only and the 300 has more than enough power, but i'm too tall for it. if ur still growing and u think ur gonna hit the 6 ft. mark, get the 400. also, ur gonna end up wanting more power, i've had my 300 for 3 months and i already have a new pipe and i'm considering changing the gearing. o, and by the way, I drag raced a KFX/Z 400 last weekend on my 300, I smoked him. I beat honda 400's and all I have is a pipe, so either that quad sux, or i'm good. take ur pick.

i moslty ride trails and ocasinal mud. i have drove a 400ex and i loved it. i haven't drove a 300ex though. i think i am going to go with the 400ex because i am growing fast and i want something that is going to last me. i like your 250x it looks sharp and fast. i don't have aol istant messenger but i have a homail account. do you want my email? thanks

 

sure i would like your e-mail address. but that atv is not mine yet. we put in one offer that got rejected then he wanted more $ so my dad is supposed to give me my answer today whether or not we are putting in the offer he wants for the 250x. then it will be my mine. i will let you know if it is mine when i know lol
