I have a 1987 250X.I am going to install a pipe and k&n filter.Does anyone if a jet kit for a 300ex will work?My Honda dealer said that he doesn't get any listing on a jet kit for a 250X.I need some help on this one.

n2atvs, what is your elevation and temp. You really don't need a jet kit... you can just move the needle and replace the main if your just going to be adding a pipe and a filter

 

My elevation is around 1000-1500 ft.Don't you have to buy a jet kit to get the main jets?The instructions in the pipe kit said they reccomend a 128 or 132 main jet.

 

go to your honda shop and buy your jets, aftermarket ones seem to be a softer material. you need to read the plug to dial it in. check out the bomb.site there is a good explaination on how to do this "For the jetting pros, what color is YOUR plug.."
