its a 250r engine in a 400ex frame and there are some little things that went wrong with the one ATV rider had : the sprocket sawed through the plastic skip and the air box bracket broke and took a chunk of air box with it and they said the vibration was terrible. dont know if its true, but the first 2 are cuz there were pics.

yeah sorry, got going and missed the whole CR part. But couldn't any of us here build on for a reasonable price??? Come on, its a CR250r in a 400ex frame. I think for 8k any of us could build one with some to spare.

i would go with a custom 250r over that 400ex conversion. the cr250 motor will vibrate your teeth out and the frame is still a 400ex frame. they way prices are down on used racing four wheelers, you would be money ahead to buy one of those. just my 02 cents

I know that 250r's are one of the most reliable 2-strokes but it is not a brand new engine and that is why they are costing so much, becasue they are brand new and you know they were never used or abused.
