two words: Sur Tracks , they are awesome but i might just think that because my other tires were just flat pieces of rubber

I heard that "pure sports realtors" are good for snow.Thats funny though,b/c i have a brand new set sitting on wheels next to my 300 ex and was so excited to go playing in the snow i didn't even take the time to swap them.I do know the stock tires are only good for 4 th gear power slides(oh yeah!) in the snow since they get little traction. This was the first good snow this area has seen in about 12 years.Later S.Scott

Hey 4trax300ex where do you plan to get the 330 kit for your quad? I think that is going to be next mod, having installed a supertrapp system, and drilled holes in box lid.I forgot about the 14t front sprocket(i likes very much mon).Scott

If you feel like venturing out on a frozen lake try ice screws. It is a blast!

I have a '91 250X and a have kenda bearclaws on the rear tires and I can go about anywhere in the snow that I want to go. I've also had these tires for about 4 years and they still look like new.
Just my opinion but these tires are awesome in the snow!
