I've been hearing a lot in the magazines that the 4x4 Ranchers front end likes to "push" when turning. Any Rancher owners experience this?

I havn't noticed this problem, but most of my riding has been in snow. The 450's I've ridden seem to push a little in tight turns, but not enough to bother me. The Rancher turns alot better than the 450 from what I've seen, tighter, easier, and less push.

It does push in. Not exactly a great feature... It is a 4x4 though.

The Rancher is a very large and heavy machine that is designed to basically haul hay around a farm at slow speeds. Don't ride it like you would a sport model and you should have no problems.

4X4 is what I have. It has Goodyear tires on it. Soon to be Blackwaters...

I agree it is a utility quad, don't expect it to be light on it's feet. It still handles good, just anticipate.

Phalynx--do you have a 2WD or 4WD Rancher? What kind of tires came on it?
Thanks

I just got my Rancher FE and have been riding in 8-10 inches of snow and obviously don't know much about ATV riding. What do you mean by "push" on turns. I haven't noticed it--probably because of the snow. Anyway, what does "push" feel like?

It's when the machine wants to go forward even though the handlebars are turned.

Thanks Rooster,

Actually, I have noticed it on my one mile drive that I cleared of snow with my tractor. I just thought that was they way all 4X4s felt when turning.
