396EX Would I have to run high octane fuel?

Default 396EX Would I have to run high octane fuel?

Im going to be buying a 396EX..What kind of octane would I have to run in it...would 93 be good or would I have to run race gas?

Its a big bore 300EX..

Im pretty sure it is 11:1

I think that 93 octane will work fine. A stock mojave has 11:1 compression.

I run 11:1 compression in my bike and i am able to run pump gas but choose to run a mix or straight race gas when i can. The bike will probably run alot better off straight race gas and will also run cooler.
