I finally fabricated a custom mount to add some off-road lights to my recon. I made the mount/bracket out of 1/8th inch steel. My Question is, (since the mount bolts on by using 2 of the 4 handlebar mount bolts) does anyone think that having 1/8inch less thread(+ or - a thousandth of an inch or so) into the handlebar mounts will cause a problem? Do I need to get longer bolts? Thanks.

Nice fabrication. No i dont think it will be a big problem, but yes it would be better if you put longer bolts in, it wont make that big of difference though.
