wheelying on a 400ex

Default wheelying on a 400ex

sorry for the speeling buy it's late and i am tire but any way i was wondering about wheelying on a 400ex. do you guys use a clutch to change gears or just do it with out the clutch and also how many gears can you go through without it dropping. thanks

I actually think it's a lot easier to use the clutch in a wheelie when shifting, and it's gotta be better for the quad too. If I were you I'd learn that way...it's a better habit to get into. Unless you wanna show off a little, then you can reach down and shift gears with your left hand...just a little different, kinda cool.

I have shifted from 1st to 4th in a wheelie, but I know I could hit 5th no problem if I tried a few times....Just haven't had a reason to yet.

i personally dont use the clutch when shifting a wheelie.........

im sure its not good for it.

and i've hit the rev limmit on both my ex's in a wheelie.......
its not really that hard.......

I don't usually use the clutch when i wheelie, i can cruise along and hang my big 280lb but off the back, it'll go forever.
