hello everybody i would like to know what you guys think about that question. i am not comparing top speeds. i want to know that if you set a totaly modified 300EX VS a stock scrambler which one of them would win in a woods race and on tight gravel backroads. and i would like to know which one would out excellerate each other.

 

Thats a pretty vague question. totally modded 300? If your talking about 330 exs, than they are faster. Woods races and gravel backroads would come down to the rider.

 

i was asking which bike, a 300EX totally modified with everything you can stick on it VS a stock 400 polaris scrambler would win in trails and on backroads and what the heck even a drag race. answer this question assuming both riders are equal in driving ability. 300EX..if you can put every mod on it..you can buy a big bore 296 kit..and a lot of other good stuff..like exhaust system etc..stock vs stcok though..it would be pretty close and the 300EX would probably be better...IMO

 

300ex.a stock 300 would come close to a good race with a scrambler.puting every thing there on a 300 i think would smoke a scrambler.the tracks would depend on the rider

 

All i can say is a raced a scrambler 500 2X4 on gravel roads for ~1 mile and i ended up winning. I'm not saying the 300ex was faster just that the guy i raced wasn't a very good rider

 

A stock 300ex would beat a scrambler in the woods,because the 300 is lighter,better handling,and smaller than the scram.A totaly modded 300,you should be comparing it to a 400ex,because you would stomp a scram.

 

ok i still dont see how a 300EX can stomp a scrambler. i mean you have 300cc of 4 stroke VS 400cc of 2 stroke. how can it beat it? and if thats the case will a 400 scrambler stock beat a 400 scrambler also stock?

 

1 of the scramblers will win..which ever one gets the better start...and yeah the scramblers may be 400 2 stroke while the 300ex are 4 stroke..but if you think..the Scrambler is a lot heavier and it has an auto tans which really sucks...so that makes it slower..and heavier too..so thats why a 300EX will win over a 400 scrambler..

 

Stock for stock, with equal riders, a 300ex won't be taking a scrambler 400 in an all out drag. I've tried it many times against my friend's sport, which is basically the same thing as a scrambler. Once first gear wound out, he would pull ahead, and the longer the race the more of a lead he would get.

Thats just drag racing though, and in the woods and jumping i prefer my own quad.
