Honda 400R ?

I don't think we will ever see another 2 stroke, except from polaris! If Honda was going to do it, they would have, I think. They oughta know the market is out there. It's the season of the four stroke, I think. Doesn't bother me, though. I like four strokes, even though I'm about to buy a banshee.

You could just go buy a stock 250R, then get a 400R mod done to it. It costs $2300, and it uses the pilot cylinder. That price includes all machining work/labor.
check it out here:

its ftz racing, they also have other kits availible.

We don't see many 2 strokes anymore, because of emissions laws. Several dune area in California ban 2 strokes during the summer months already. A total ban is coming. The state of Wisconsin is going to ban all 2 stroke boat motors in 2001, if I remember correctly.
BUT, Honda is also working on a new 2 strokes engine. It is said to run almost a clean as a 4 stroke. If it works out, I think a lot of people would be happy.
