My 400ex has a squeaking soun almost like the pistons are squeaking. does anybodyelses do this to?

 

Yeah my 02 makes a very loud sqeaking quite often shortly after starting it up and it lasts a couple minutes until the motor warms up. It did it since new and still does it now after probably over 100 hours on it, most of it top-rpm racing, so whatever it is it hasn't been fatal yet. I showed the noise to the dealer and they figured it was too tight clearance on bottom end gear and that it should go away after break in. This was with 1 month left on warranty, and they "said" that should it grenade shortly after my warranty was up they could probably warranty it from the noise they witnessed, but its been a year now, still squeaks, still runs strong. Bizarre.
