Honda has outdone themselves...
#2
I picked up my new 2004 Honda Rancher AT yesterday afternoon. If anyone is considering purchasing a Rancher AT, you won't regret it! I read on another thread that Honda might be ruining a perfectly great ATV and I must admit I was agreeing with the comment until I rode one. Of course, I can't comment on reliability yet, but the initial thoughts are that this is one of the best ATV's ever produced. The machine is so balanced. It is extremely agile, yet stable. I have a 2003 Yamaha Kodiak 450 Auto also. It is already sold to a guy at work. The Rancher AT has the same bulletproof feel of the old style Ranchers, but with better ride and stability. The power band is consistant all of the way through. No bogging down in mid-range like my Kodiak. In ESP mode, you just punch the throttle and just hit the "up" button while never letting up.
I just had to get this off of my chest. Thanks!

It's nice they didn't ruin a perfectly good quad, they just built another one. Onlythe plastic has changed on the 350 line. And maybe the addition of brake lites, I didn't check.
The new 400 AT is nice, rode one a few weeks ago. The only way to really know what a nice ATV this is is to ride one.
