stock and modded 400EX's

 

lots of people own 400EX's.

No one has even measure 300 feet and had someone time there acceleration runs?

I did. But a stock 2001 500 Honda Rubicon 11500km. Bald tires on grass. 300 feet in 7.25's

I hope a 400EX would at least do 6 flat.

My stock EX ran 6.4's on 300' sand...250 lb rider. R-4 slip on ran 6.3's. IMS440 (really it's a 430) 12.5:1, port, 450/451 cam, DMC full exhaust (not the Alien) ran 5.9's. Now it's a 465 92mm 14:1, port, larger valves, 493i cam, Carrillo, FCR41, struts and a wheelie bar ran a 5.516 while bogging because gearing to tall to pull 2nd gear launches with 21x11x8 11 paddle Ultra lights. I have 14/41 gearing now that should take care of that problem. Hope to see 5.3-5.4's this weekend. Grass and dirt ET's will be about 1-2 tenths faster. Struts and a wheelie bar will yield 1-2 tenths gain.

oh the kawabanshee had a 1327 CC engine, Nitrious said was producing 475 HP witch is hard to belive

me & my friend raced his rubicon against me & I beat him once by one quad length & the second time we tied....this was in a wet field with some deep grass

 

A BAJA-ds650 will not go faster than 6.0 stock. (from what I have seen.

my banshee will run a 4.6-4.7 on dirt.....and I used to have a warrior that ran a 5.6-5.7.

But there used to be a black 465ex or maybee bigger that came out to the 300ft dirt drags and ran 5.0's, i thought that was pretty fast for a 400ex
