Default e-series slip-on or complete for 400ex?

I'm about to order a new pipe for my '03 400ex. I think i've narrowed it down to the white brothers e-series. Should i be getting the slip-on or complete? Is the complete worth nearly twice as much money? Thanks for any advice...

I hate that you've narrowed it down to that particular pipe. Almost every 400ex I've seen with a White Bros "E" Series has smoked. Not initially, but within a few hours of riding. I got the Pro Circuit T-4 silencer for mine, and it's never smoked. I'm halfway into my 4th race season with it. I'm still running stock head pipe. I finally broke down and rebuilt the eng on mine, not because it was smoking or running bad, but because I needed a little more power to get my fat butt off the line. Hope I helped and not hurt.

UpNorthRider, I totally forgot about pro-circuit. That would be a good pipe for your bike. I know a few at work who have them and they say they work pretty good.

I am also considering getting the white brothers e series slip on, until someone said that it will make the 400ex smoke. I have not heard this before. Dirt Rider voted it the best pipe for the 400ex so I was really considering it, but now I am not sure. Has anyone else had a 400ex start smoking because of adding an e series slip on? Thanks
