TRX 450R - will you buy/no buy if it has reverse?

I am hoping it comes with reverse gear. If it does then I just found my new quad. If not, the Z400 will probably be what I get unless Bombi comes out with something similar.

i never got why anyone would want reverse on a sport quad. you have to be freakin kidding me. reverse is for utility quads or for people that shouldnt be going forward to begin with.

I'm not convinced that it won't. If Honda were smart they would offer a new quad that was inbetween the YFZ450 and the Z400. Reverse isn't going to prevent anyone from racing and it will make the machine appeal to a broader spectrum of riders.
I think they would have figured out the lack of reverse issue on the 400EX.

I just noticed both of you guys are from Cali. I assume you guys ride the wide open desert and dunes. Probably no need for reverse there. If you ride in the woods, technical terrain, mountains, etc then reverse is awesome.

I could care less about reverse, it's just something else that can go wrong and break. I'm not too lazy to hop off the quad and lift the front end to where it needs to be if i'm in a tight spot.

I am coming from a quad w/ reverse to one w/o it.....and I don't even care....sure a couple times I've had to put my feet down and roll myself backwards.....big deal. Reverse I think it is a luxury item, it would NEVER be a deciding factor for me when buying a quad.

I dont no who would spend the money on a race redy quad to ride in the woods or on "technical terrian" reverse will make it heavier if hondas smart there will be NO reverse.
