You buy a Honda, everything you get is Honda-engine, tranny, frame, swingarm, and smaller parts. Arctic Cat gets many of its engines from Suzuki. for instance the new 650 V twin. Arctic Cat's new sport quad is built entirely by Suzuki, with different plastic. Hondas are much more reliable, have better engineering and design, and that is proven by their higher resale value. If you want Suzuki, buy Suzuki.

The new 650 V twin is made by Kawi. It's not really new, it's been in the prarie for a while. The 400 is Zuki's engine though. It's water cooled and has reverse and goes faster than the EX. But it's way behind on engineering )

Suzuki might build the cat motors but they are pretty reliable machines. I would be the first one in like if the Cat650 had a 5speed tranny i still like it with a belt though. If I were looking at 650's I would get the Cat (when its avaliable) over the Rinny cause it has a low range, 7 gallon gas tank, Disc brakes all around, 2-4 wheeldrive with a LOCKER, 12" of ground clearance with the stock tires, and IRS. Honda is more than likely a bit more reliable and will handle better but thats about it.

Dont overlook the Bombardier Outlander. I just got one and I love it. Read some of the reports on it. Atv of the year in several magazines. You wont find a softer ride. A rancher or foreman is an excellent choice as well. If you are debating between cat and Honda, apparantly you live under a rock. You need to ride a Honda. Then you will want to sell those cats of yours.
