The Polaris forum is all about problems!

I have a 00 400cc 4X4 Xplorer.I beleive it will out mud,out hill climb, and flat a$$ out perform ANY stock 4x4 Honda 4x4 in the same and similar situations. No,I have not went against every 4x4 Honda ever made, but I have plenty of mudding and hill climbing experience and have seen many differant 4x4 quads perform in the same conditions as myself. The problem with Honda is they keep making the same design for yrs at a time with no meaningful additions, like liquid cooling,IRS,true 4x4,disk brakes, switchable 2wd-4wd,and ample ground clearances. And the thing is,even without the above mentioned options on their quads, they still cost as much or even more than a similer CC 4x4 Polaris quad.
Until Honda meets my likes/dislikes of a 4x4 quad,I'll continue to ride my so called ''money pit'' of a quad, and continue to amaze the Honda riders as I out mud/hill climb them.====BILL

Ya know, this reminds me of my German Sheppard and the neighbors Black Lab Retriever....
They spend ALL freakin day walking the fence-line barking at one another pissin' on each fence post as they come to it...
One always trying to "outdo" the others scent... They won't ever learn and it looks like some people in here won't either. You know who you are!!...
NOW SHUT-UP AND RIDE!!!....

98 explorer 4 by 4 no problems. Weighs almost 600lbs. Yet can smoke my boss with his 300ex. Which weighs 320lbs or so. You would think a utillity bike couldn't outrun a sport bike. Well I guess when I have problems he'll be able to take me. Maybe I'll overheat and he'll take me. Owe yeh, I have a liquid cooled quad.

Xplor, I would like to know where you get your info from, "Polaris is all this polaris is all that" pretty funny. I have yet to find a polaris that would stand a chance against my 400ex. Polaris innovative?? HA, yes they put alot of buttons on them but that doesen't make them innovative, boy do they have you fooled. Do you think Polaris has discovered Aluminum yet? That stamped metal is real great too! oh, And I love the finish they put on it. Looks like they gave a 8 year old a can of flat black spray paint. like that won't rust in a few years. Here in the real world that just doesn't cut it. Maybe I just have my standards set to high, na.

Oh, and hoolio, you've had some really informative posts over there in your polaris section. I wouldn't believe a word you said. go ahead guys, check it out. huh, thats funny a explorer faster than a 300ex? I use to have a 300ex, and i have rode with explorers, well I use the term "rode with" loosely. most of the time I was waiting for him to catch up. I'm not saying I was faster though, differnt riders ride different, and have varying experience. I hate to sink to your level, and say things like, I saw a honda in the woods one time, and I passed him, he was stopping to take a leak though, but I was faster!

Gee, I wonder why atver's as a whole are often thought of as loud mouthed jerks? I wonder why riding areas are always being closed? Maybe the atving community presence is at the root of the problem. Some of us like to argue, blather and scream on this forum, but I fear this is only a reflection of how some behave on the trail. I feel this way about the larger OHV group as well. We have the privilage to use public land in some areas, and often we don't act respondsible and the area is then closed to OHV's. Locally, there was a really nice place to ride and thanks to a bunch of beer chugging OHV riding losers who thought it should be party central, as well as a place to dump this weeks trash. The area is now posted no trespassing and stricltly enforced. The City now states the area is closed until further notice. Now stop pissing on the fence and talk about something worth while. Frankly, if you can't find something better to talk about, leave, split, vamoose. Furthermore, I don't care if you can go faster, accelerate quicker, jump higher, break down less or even spit farther as long as you are riding responsibly and not causing problems for the rest of us.
