i have a 98 300ex and i was wanting tp bore it.i was gonna get the wiseco .020 kit.i was wondering what this would make my 300ex.also how reliable would it be.im only 14 so i wouldnt have the money to fix it if it blows.also whar else would i need to buy??carb?any feedback will be greatly appreciated.thanks.

 

i kno this isnt answerin ur question, but i am 14 w/ a 300ex and i was thinkin of doin the same thing...but instead u should just wait a little while and get a bigger, better quad.....more cc's, longer suspension, etc. just my .02

 

20 over wont even get close to 300cc. The 300ex is 282cc. If you want it to run geta cam and a305 big bore,or bigger, and then you will have something. I did a small rebore on a 300 and it sucked compared to the 305 for a matter of $50 or so. POWROLL.com kicks azz on that sort of thing.

 

Yo,im 14 too and i got my 300ex for $1900.its a 2000 and with all the mods im gonna save up some cash sell it and get a shee.or a yfz 450.even with a 330 bore kit u couldnt even touch a stock shee.just my .02 too

 

or u could wait 4 honda's new sport quad thats coming out in a couple of months.i hear the chassis made of moon rocks and it comes with umpa lumpas to change tires and make jetting adjustments.thats y they took so long 2 get it out.
