I know a little about how honda does product development. When they announced their water craft it was a surprise to most people. It was known honda was working on one but few outsiders knew that it was already in pre production when the dealers were told about it. Think about how long the rumors of this quad have been going on. I'm sure a lot were false but so many had to mean that their was somthing up. I have a feeling that this is similar to the watercraft several years of development untill they feel it's right and then when they are ready it's announced. I wouldn't be surprised if it is in pre-production and you see the new honda in dealerships by the end of september.

 

My guess is Honda will release info on it...possibly let a few racers have it for a year and then release this time next year...same as they did with the crf250r

GoldenChild500: back in 1999, i was one of the first to get the 400ex. i bought it site unseen except for the mags. NEVER have a one problem, go for it, go put a down payment on one!!!

 

Same with me Bilsner, I had $2k in hand for a used quad when I saw the 400ex rollin into the dealership and made a lefty into the finance office, 2 hours later my girlfirend was Pi$$ed and I was stoked. She left but I still got the 4hundy! God I don't miss her! Change the oil, clean the filter....that's it. Yah...remember Honda dealers are the last to know about new models...I have no facts and its driving us nuts
