I want to get a 250r frame, but if I am only able to find an 86 or 87 will the 88 or 89 complete motor top and bottom fit into a 86 or 87 frame. Or is there any difference in the motors anything on this subjet will be helpful, thanks.

 

No problem, it will bolt right up. Hell, if a 300EX motor will practically bolt right up, any year 250R should.
