Anybody here raced a predator and beat them? Within a year I am planning to all out on a 416 with a piston, cam, pipe, porting etc. etc. I am wondering how it will stack up to a predator. Will I have to have a 440 to take them? I would like to get a 416 because they are still very relaible, from what I've heard.

 

Well my piped 400 took a couple piped preds... But i had a big weight atvantage...

 

I can beat some preds, but I also have a lot more cc's in my quad [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But it has a LOT to do with the riders skill level... good luck you'll need it!!

Smoked it in reverse untill we got to a big hill then it slipped by me.

 

I raced one broke down before he got to the end.

 

ive been beaten by some (yes they were stock) and walked on others. this is with my 86R with mild porting, fmf fatty, boyesen reeds and stinger silencer. i will never be beaten by another one coming next season. if you gotta do all that to a 400ex to make it beat a stock one you are out of your class.

I beat them on my V-Force and KILL them on my banshee..

 

I can wax Pred's pretty good...but look at all I've done to my quad!!!
