well on my quad and my buddies ex we can let the clutch out w/o gas and it'll move on its on,i don't know if you can do that with your r,never driven one but want 2, so i guess it'd work the same except you'd be balancing it on the back wheels,

i've done those no-handed wheelies, they r great for impressin people. with the EX there isn't an idle. if u start the quad up in first gear, then ride and jump off (while u r going slow) the quad will roll untill somethign stops it. i've had to chase my EX many a times while learning to d ono handed wheelies. i would jump off, the quad would go forward, and i'd be running after it. not a lot of fun, i'm lookin at get a thether-style kill switch. also, how do u do stoppies/endos? i've tried them in the sand, and the front tires jus lock up and skid. i tried it in dirt with the same results. i went so far as to try it in the street, but my suspension in front soaked up all of my momentum. what's the trick?

in the sand there isnt enough traction but on the road or in the grass its pretty easy, the road especially, dont just grab the brakes all at once, u gotta get ready, put your wieght forward like almost on top of the gas tankthen ease the brakes just a lil then pull them in all the way, but if you feel like you will go over get one foot ready to stop you and let off the brakes. and once your up in the endo u might wanna go back on the seat some. well i dunno if this helps you but thats how i do them.

Okay...no handed wheelies....balance point and brakes are how it's done. If you click on my gallery page I think there are some in there...

To the question about the EX or KFX. I have seen the KFX stunting a couple times and had the chance to ride one, but didn't so I can't say how it is. All I can say is that the EX is plenty good enough for me, and it's easier to find a good deal on one since they date back a few years now. I would like to try a KFX and if I get the chance to again, I will. I couldn't justify buying a new quad right now, but still would be fun to play on one.
I'm sure either one you go with will be great man.
