I am trying to get an idea of my compression. What is the stock clearance from top of piston to head? How thick is base gasket (I think its .0020). Is there a way to do it mathematically, or do you need to clay it or measure chamber with oil?

 

with so many varibles I think you would need to use something like the oil method to be sure. I know that most engine kits never come out to what they say they are. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
