Race cut fenders

I thinkin bout cuting my front fenders If I cut my fenders on my 300ex will i get hit more by rocks and things from front tires. If so how much more will i get hit. Is it really worth it to cut the fenders?

ok rippen300ex, i have never been hit by a rock yet from the front tire. one came from teh back tired but that is it. i ride trails, small home made mx tracks and around my yard hitting the ocasional jump.
