The 300ex can beat it on take off? My 250 fourtrax beat my friend's warrior on take off. But my friend does smokeshows and his rear tires are almost as bald as a ...bald person. He has bald shredder tires. I have a brand new mud blaster and another mud blaster on the other side. So whenever my friend hits the gas, his Warrior sits there and spins.

Speaking of that friend, he tells me a 300ex can go the same speed my 250fourtrax can go. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] I don't believe him though. I know my fourtrax is really broken into, but it's an '86 geared for work and not performance. I'm pretty sure a 250ex (that's been broken into) can beat my fourtrax and if that's the case, then a 300 can beat it too.

He's right though. The 300 can go the same speed as your 250, but just give the 300 more throttle and it'll go faster. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Except for comfort and torque. I like the 300, but if it came down to it I'd go with a Warrior because of the power and it fits me better.



But this thread is about Honda lovin'. I sleep with a little 250R on my pillow at night. . . damn thing keeps getting stuck in my ear though . . .

This forum would be a heII of a lot better without them. Anyone else agree?

back to the original topic, i love honda, i love my 400ex too. I agree if they added a 650ex with the xr650 engine in it that the line up would be complete.

why not throw the Rincon motor in, but use a racing transmission.

A question to you guys. Is it possible to cheaply add a 6th gear to my 250trx?

If by cheaply you mean hiring a team of engineers to design a new gearset and having them manufactured, it sure is! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I'm just playing. But I know how you feel. I wish my 250SX had another gear . . . or maybe not, I'd probably kill myself.

The thing is, my 250trx can go pretty quick in 5th when I have the throttle right to the end, but I'm under the impression that if you hold it there too long the engine will blow up or something. The engine really makes a lot of noise and I'm scared if I blow it up cause if I do, then my parents will be[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
Anyways, I wish there was a 6th gear, mainly for overdrive, not really for picking up more speed. Concerning my 250trx right to the end, I have a story about it. Do you guys believe that a 250trx can pass a blaster? MY friend was in 6th gear on his blaster and I was in 5th, I wanted to catch up to him so I held it right to the end and I slowly passed him[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

The rincon motor is'nt really all that powerful is it? I love the rincon, but I was just curious. I think honda should put the xr650 engine in the rincon, then it would have some seious power!
