Help with add ons for my 400ex
#1
I am looking for some help with afermarket products for my 400ex. I was recently in a pretty bad wipe-out at Rausch Creek in Pa. and the subframe on my bike was bent to a 90 degree angle. That seems easy enough to replace because it is a bolt-on. What I really need is advice on a new exhaust for this quad. The stoclk pipe was also twisted and mangled. I like the fact that the stock pipe is really quiet yet to replace the factory pipe is about as much $$ as adding an aftermarket pipe. Any opinions about the best of both worlds: power without so much noise. FMF or White Bros. Also I have been riding for about 15 years and never had skidplates. Am I nuts? I ask these questions because my wife is giving me some extra $$ to fix this thing back up.....so the more accessories the better!!!
Thanks for your answers

400exJumper;
Thanks for the list that really helps me to see which pipes are loudest and I think my decision is going to be between the White Bros R-4 and E-series! I know I am going to have to bear a little more noise than I am used to, especially since the stock pipe is only knocking out 88 db
Thanks again!
